The carnival is a cultural manifestation that historians have placed in the ancient times. Still, carnivals all over the world are now more actual than ever. Maybe because a carnival is a happy time spend with a lot of other happy people. How the French people say, this is the “joie de vivre”. Colors, smiles or laughs, expectations, friendship.
And more than that, a carnival is an opportunity to see what is hidden inside someone’s soul and how he acts when he feels free. A carnival is a manifestation for everyone, for the young and the old, for both kids and their parents.
In the end, that’s what a carnival is about: freedom. Freedom for everyone to act, to dress or to dance. It is like a second nature of a person.
